Election Process
Each member of the El Colegio Board of Directors serves a three-year term. Elections are held every November during the school’s Annual Meeting. El Colegio teachers, parents/guardians of El Colegio students, and community members are welcome to submit their application and run for election.
Board Meetings
El Colegio Board of Directors meetings are open meetings, meaning all members of the public are welcome to attend. Board meetings are held in El Colegio’s cafeteria on the third Wednesday of every month, from 5pm to 7pm. Anyone who would like to make a public comment at a board meeting is asked to email the Board Chair, Tony Aarts, at taarts@el-colegio.org, and the executive director at avina@el-colegio.org.
