El Colegio’s Food Delivery

El Colegio will continue to provide weekly non perishable food bag drop offs on Friday’s. Families must make the school aware by Wednesday at 5pm each week if they want to be included on Friday’s drop off route.

• Mondays and Tuesdays: Staff will call all students and families and check if there is a food need in the house. 
• Wednesdays: Food need requests will be compiled and documented. Messages left on the school voicemail will be checked. 
• Thursdays: El Colegio staff will finalize deliveries for the week and map out routes. 
• Fridays: Bagged food will be dropped off to community members who requested it between 9am and 6pm.

Other Food Resources

MPS is operating nearly 50 food distribution sites offering WEEKLY food pick up. Each day, up to 10 different sites across the city will offer food pick-up from 10am to 2pm, Monday through Friday.

April 7 Update: YMCA is distributing food again.

The YMCA is serving free healthy meals to families in need.
This opportunity is open to everyone in the community. Please remember to practice social distancing when picking up the food. Families may pick up food Monday through Friday from 12pm noon to 2pm.
