El Colegio is able to meet our mission because we have an amazing network of supporters - volunteers, former students, community partners, and donors.

We invite you to honor the accomplishments of our students and support our efforts by making a tax deductible donation to El Colegio.

Our fundraising goal for the 2008-09 school-year is $15,000. Your contribution will allow us to continue serving our students and will help us expand the following key programs and activities:

• One to one college and career counseling for students.
  
  
• Library expansion including English/Spanish fiction and non-fiction materials.
  
  
• Cambio: A girls group supporting financial literacy, school success and healthy decision making.
  
  
• Muralistas: A program training students to design and paint murals in the community to combat graffiti and beautify neighborhoods.
  
  
• Hands-on science and environmental education in our newly renovated lab.
  
  
• Nutrition and cooking classes in our brand new commercial kitchen.

Does your company have a matching program?
You might be able to make your donation go farther. Many companies encourage employees to donate to their favorite charities by matching their contributions, sometimes dollar-for-dollar or more. Some corporate volunteer programs offer paid time off for employees to spend their work time providing assistance to their favorite charitable organization. Others will make a contribution on your behalf to your charity of choice to reward your volunteer activities.
